Requesting Closed Captioning for your event

The Office of Equity and Title IX, in cooperation with Information Technology, Media Services, and in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is now able to arrange closed captioning for large scale events sponsored by Missouri S&T such as, town halls, commencement ceremonies, and campus wide speakers.  Closed captioning services will be covered through the campus ADA fund.

Smaller scale events and activities requiring closed caption will be at the department's expense.

If you are an RSO, or student planning an event please contact Student Disability Services for guidance on how to secure closed captioning for your event.

All requests for closed captioning must be made two weeks prior to the event (no exceptions).
